I think polls mean very little, unfortunately fellow members of the party don’t appear to agree. 11% will only make the Huhneites and the Cleggites show their daggers behind Ming’s back even more. I don’t think 11% is a problem electorally, I think it’s a problem internally.

If you think that 11% in the polls is a major problem then why are you calling for an autumn general election?

Time will tell, but this is an embarrassing blunder that I think is unlikely to go away. It has done nothing but spark extra demands for a general election in light of allegations that the PM has insulted Britain’s intelligence by insisting the polls weren’t to blame.

He’ll bounce back. There is no way this will be permanent once Brown flies out a load of new initiatives and policies. Cameron will be back down in the polls before you know it.

You know what Liberall: I aint going to bother with insignificant people like yourself. Also in terms of the Lib Dems I will say Ha Ha. You lot will never achieve office. Half a country hates you and when push comes to shove they would rather want a Labour government in rather than a perverted party like the Liberal Democrats. I think the fact that you guys have a motion on porn for 16 year olds rather sums up the description that I have used above. I use negative comments based in facts.

Perhaps Paul I should use your excuse and say that as I’m the author of my blog I can write what the f*ck I like. All you’re doing is causing crap for the Tory party and yourself with what you’re writing, and as a Lib Dem usually I’d be happy with that. As someone who originally didn’t want to see you hit a downward spiral I wasn’t happy with that. At the end of the day you’re only damaging yourself, and at some point you’ll realise that.
